Whether you've never stepped on a yoga mat before or you've been practicing with Sundari since she brought yoga to Teton Valley many decades ago, YOL is offering two new avenues to enhance your practice this spring in addition to our weekly public classes. 

 

The ABC Yoga series, taught by Kari Swenson, is a 6 week curriculum that specializes in the functional movement of humans, something we should all go back to in order to live from a healthy spine. It is great way to begin your summer passion of being active and healthy!

 

The Only Way Out Is In series of workshops, designed and taught by Sundari, offer a deep dive inward in your yoga practice. Explore another layer that will awaken you to places you may have never visited before. This May, Sundari will bring new awareness to the second Bandha - Uddiyana - Bandha.

Spring Into Sunday with Sundari

Spring is a time for renewal to yourself and an opportunity to change old patterns, behaviors and reactive conditions. The body is the way in to the mind and further along to the heart of what really matters. Self-transformation is achieved by experiencing the limitless nature of who we are, a dimensional shift in the way you perceive and experience life. Knowing this is YOGA.

THE ONLY WAY OUT IS IN

MAY 6 | 9-11:30 AM

  • Sadhana~ your personal, individual spiritual effort. It is the main tool you use to work on yourself to achieve the purpose of life
  • Going upward in the soaring of the prana related to the spine
  • Poses that stoke "fire in the belly" for digestion and elimination
  • Cleansing with the Breath
  • The second Bandha - Uddiyana - Bandha
  • Yoga Postures that influence the tone of the lower belly, massage the abdominal muscles, diaphram, heart and lungs, and that stimulate the blood circulation
  • The use of props (another tool) to achieve this experience
  • Relaxation and release postures
