Meet Radka, RYT-500

Radka moved to the Tetons, after four years of elementary school teaching in the beautiful Czech Republic, in 2000. Anchoring in the mountains and outdoor lifestyle she searched for balance on her mat. She soon found her passion in the ‘most natural’ collaboration of Yoga and Ayurvedic studies. Drawn to the challenging yet therapeutic yoga practice, Radka attended several yoga teacher trainings in southern India. Beloved India became her home for the past three winters, resulting in her Yoga Alliance 500-hr teacher certification.

Radka has been inspired by her Guru’s humorous, humble and compassionate teaching style in addition to his vast knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda. She has been trained in a lineage of Classical Hatha and Ashtanga with emphasis on healing properties of yoga, incorporating Karma, Bhakti, Jnana and Mantra yoga into it. Radka believes in preventative and proactive healthcare; hence, she teaches yoga as a lifestyle.

Radka’s classes are focused on a joyful style of yoga flow along with strengthening and alignment as a way to a balanced and thriving body. Her holistic module of integrated yoga could bring you to a short practice of Pranayama, a cleansing technique or chanting as a way to equanimity,  good health, and living in peace and harmony with the greater whole.

Radka encourages students to listen to and respect their body’s innate intelligence as part of the practice on and off the mat. She is passionate about teaching all aspects and branches of yoga, and she can’t help sharing her love for ayurvedic daily habits and Functional Nutrition.

Practice Integrative Yoga with Radka on Thursday’s at 7:30AM this summer!
